Goan Shack-Style Butter Garlic Prawns

(Serves 3)



16 Big Sized Prawns

8 Garlic Cloves chopped finely

1 tsp Olive Oil

3 tblsp Butter

Salt as required

A pinch of freshly-ground pepper

2 tsp fresh parsley

½ Lime Juice



1. Wash, clean and devein the prawns. Drain and pat and keep aside

2. Heat a saucepan on high and add the olive oil and butter to it. Let it sizzle!

3. Add all the garlic to it and sauté for about 1 minute or until the garlic is fragrant

4. Add in the prawns and sprinkle with salt

5. Turn the prawns over after two minutes once you can see them cooking

6. Add in the parsley and the pepper. Turn the prawns again

7. Turn off the heat and add a little more butter and the lime juice

8. Serve hot!
